Description: Together with three other recent creative advertising graduates, we created the RVA Zombie Film Festival at the historic Byrd Theatre in Richmond, VA. The theatre has a $2 million dollar debt, and as a community staple, we did not want to see the theatre become "zombified."
We concepted, planned, designed, and implemented the entire event, heavily promoted it through social media and with traditional collateral, and partnered with the community to support the event.
Additionally, we continued to raise funds through the "Keep the Byrd Alive" Kickstarter campaign after the festival. As a result, we raised $6,000 total towards the Byrd Theatre foundation; keeping this non-profit away from the same "undead" fate as the zombie movies we screened.
